New Leash on Life

We partner with the New Leash on Life/Piedmont Animal Welfare Alliance (PAWA) and the Forsyth Correctional Center for the New Leash on Life dog training program. This state prison program pairs qualifying inmates with rescue dogs in need of training.

Triad Bloodhounds

The Triad Bloodhounds team is a volunteer organization of handlers and their proficient tracking dogs who locate lost or missing persons, including children and people with Alzheimer’s disease, without charge.

Breed Rescue

If you would like help finding a home for a dog in need, many of our members support specific breed rescue organizations and may be able to provide assistance. 

Complete the breed rescue request form and your message will be forwarded to the appropriate breed coordinator.

 

Therapy

We are home to a group of compassionate, volunteer handlers and their dogs. If you and your dog have the dedication and desire to make a difference in the quality of life for patients in care facilities, therapy may be for you.
