American Kennel Club

The Winston-Salem Dog Training Club, Inc., is a member club of the American Kennel Club.  Our club holds AKC sanctioned events on a regular basis.  AKC has been for purebred dogs only since its inception.  For complete information about AKC, please check their website at:  AKC.ORG


North American Dog Agility Council

NADAC, (North American Dog Agility Council) was formed in 1993 to provide North American dogs and their handlers with a fast, safe and enjoyable form of the sport of dog agility. NADAC sanctions agility trials sponsored by affiliated clubs.  See their website at:   NADAC

United States Dog Agility Association

(USDAA) claims to be the world's largest independent authority for the sport of dog agility, with more than 30,000 registered competitors and more than 40,000 dogs representing more than 200 different breeds of dogs, including mix-breeds.  See their website at:  USDAA

North American Flyball Association

The North American Flyball Association, Inc. (NAFA®) was established in 1984, when 12 flyball clubs in Michigan and Ontario banded together to guide the development of flyball in North America. Today, with over 400 active clubs and 6,500 competing dogs, NAFA is recognized as the world's leading authority on flyball and the sport's top sanctioning organization. United Kennel Club

Established in 1898, the United Kennel Club is the largest all-breed performance-dog registry in the world, registering dogs from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries. More than 60 percent of its 13,000 annually licensed events are tests of hunting ability, training and instinct. UKC prides itself on its family-oriented, friendly, educational events. The UKC has supported the "Total Dog" philosophy through its events and programs for over a century. As a departure from registries that place emphasis on a dog’s looks, UKC events are designed for dogs that look and perform equally well.  See their website at:  UKC

Triad Bloodhound

The Triad Bloodhounds, is a 501(c)3 tax deductible non-profit organization.There is no charge for their services.The team depends on donations and fundrasiers for financial support. 

The team is an all volunteer organization serving all law enforcement agencies in North Carolina, surrounding states, emergency management and any other local, state or federal agency requesting assistance.

 As a service to our community, we provide assistance in locating lost or missing persons including children, criminal tracking, Alzheimers patients, cadaver searches both on land and water and explosive detection.

All theses services are provided 24 hours a day 365 days a year, at no cost to the requesting agency. We also provide annual training seminars run through the Rockingham Community College and available for public appearances at schools and special events upon request.
